Because of his belief that he could make a difference in the restoration of the "male" identity, Pastor Gordon pursued and received a B. A. degree in elementary Education from Southern University. Upon graduation, he began his teaching career in the public School system, and today he continues to educate others in the things of God. He currently serves as the Superintendent of the Progressive District. Teaches in the W. K. Gordon Institute's Pastor's Class, Ordination Board Chairperson, and State Jurisdictional Area Coordinator of Louisiana East #1. It is his heart's desire to positively affect the lives of those in whom he comes in contact with to produce tangible results. On July 6, 1957, he was married to Wardine Mabry. And to this Union four lovely daughters were born, Cheryl, Debra, Alma, and Ursula. As time progressed, he acquired three sons-in-law, Fredrick, Edwin and Edward, and grandchildren, Keesha, Gordon, and Adrianna, James, Charleston, Joshua, and Erika.
